Cingular announced that they'll be providing Good Technology's GoodLink push-email software as a direct competitor to the Blackberry regime. Both the Treo 650 and Siemens SX66 are compatible with GoodLink and offered by Cingular. GoodLink will be included in Cingular's unlimited data option for $45/month, and should be available on Series 60 phones relatively soon. While GoodLink has been available before, MobileTracker notes, it came at a premium because it was not offered directly through Cingular. One thing is clear—the competition is going to continue to heat up for Blackberry manufacturer RIM as more push-email solutions come to market (including, among others, Microsoft, who happens to be both an ally and competitor with RIM).
