    Smallest Plasma? Ok, Makes Sense

    At first, I wasn't quite sure why you'd bother with the smallest plasma display, but soon realized that plasma has always been shown in large formats, leaving the small stuff to LCD displays. So, Panasonic has decided to show a new 1080p, 50-inch prototype that has more than 2 million pixels, quick response to moving images and wide viewing angles. This is all because of a new drive circuit that enables stable light emission. The tiny—in relative terms—PDP is being shown at CEATEC Japan 2005.
