Verizon is flexing its wireless broadband multimedia V Cast network muscle today with its latest phone, the Samsung a970. This new swivel phone is V Cast enabled, meaning it's capable of receiving multimedia content like 3D games, music videos, and other kinds of programming. It also features Bluetooth, a 2-megapixel camera with 2x optical zoom (plus video cam), an MP3 player, a T-flash memory card slot, a 262k color screen, and VoiceMode, a speech-to-text technology.

For a 2-year agreement, you'll get the phone for $299.99. It's available right now.
