It's official, the Nintendo Revolution will make sure your ever impressionable kids will be guarded against those nasty Mature games with a password controlled censorship system. Each game will include a code that will give you the rating of the disc and this will activate the system to remain locked or unlocked.
"Even though many Nintendo games are rated E, E10+ or T, we believe this
kind of feature should be included in the hardware. It's the right thing to do," explains Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of sales & marketing. "Game ratings are on the front and back of every game package, so families can easily make a decision about whether a game is right for them."
Yup, we get it, thanks. We can now all breathe a sigh of relief that our children won't go nuts and hack up Ganon aka Aunt Wilma with the Sword of Power aka a butcher knife.
