    Samsung SPH-V6800 Slider

You know, I've never owned a slider phone. Strange, really, because I've owned a LOT of phones but for some reason there's not a glut of sliders made for the US market. I think that's a shame. So of course, it broke my heart to see that the Samsung SPH-V6800 multimedia handset, indeed a fancy-lookin' slider, is only available now in Korea. It works with CDMA2000, is Wi-Fi enabled, has a 2-inch TFT display, MP3 / AAC audio playback and voice recognition. Strangely enough, with a phone this great, Samsung only put a 1.3 megapixel camera on this baby, along with MPEG-4 recording, video-on-demand, TV-output and EVDO. Hmmm, odd. Going for about $477.
