PSP Homebrew Through GTA Game Saves

The PSP has been hacked for homebrews yet again — and this time it involves carjacking and indiscriminate gunfire. Using Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories for the PSP, you can use a game save to load a "Hello World" application onto the PSP through the memory stick. Basically you'll be swapping some files using your PC and a memory stick reader and then loading the game save. Now that details about how the app works have been released, further development in the PSP homebrew community is sure to follow. It's a great workaround for 2.xx firmware as well. Maybe sooner or later, we'll see some useful applications through this game-save exploit.
