Gizmodo Japan: Homestar Spring 2006 Limited Version

It's an amazing feeling to sleep under the starry sky. You just forget about your everyday life and start breathing peacefully without noticing. Sega Toys made it possible to do this at home. "Homestar", the optical planetarium with ten thousand stars for the home, was launched in August 2005.

The Winter 2005 Limited Version became such a huge hit that Sega will now offer a Spring 2006 Limited Edition beginning in the middle of March—they'll likely sell out just as quickly.

The Homestar projects stars from either the northern or southern hemisphere on the ceiling above. It even has a shooting star function.

This special package costs about $245 US.
