Bluetooth on Two Wheels: BMW Motorrad WCS-1 System 5 Helmet

This is not the first Bluetooth helmet we've seen, but this BMW Motorrad WCS-1 System 5 helmet is by far the best-looking example of the breed.

Using a two-microphone array up front, you can talk to a passenger sitting behind you or another rider that's less than 30 feet away. It has a simple three-button control panel on the outside of the helmet, and you can hook it up with a Bluetooth phone or MP3 player, or listen to directions from a GPS system. Effective at speeds up to 90 mph—which would be the last place you'd want to be encumbered by a bunch of wires— it lets you stay in touch even while gunning that crotch rocket.
