    DIY: Portable USB Charger

    I think we have a first in Gizmodo history. This is DIY electrical-related project that the average Joe might be able to do. This project is cheap, semi-simple and allows gadgets like iPods and PDAs to be charged via USB. A 9-volt battery does all of the charging and this DIY device is small and good for travel.
