Averatec's releasing a small ultra-portable notebook that's not altogether wimpy in terms of power. It has an intel Pentium M 1.1 GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 80GB hard disk, dual layer DVD, USB 2.0, firewire, memory card reader and VGA port. Everything looks as good as a larger sized notebook except for the CPU, which needs to be smaller and draw less power due to this system's size.
