Since I'm the only one on the staff with an even basic knowledge of the language of Camões (Portuguese, kids), I come baring news on an robot-like device that works with the iPod. Given the name Miuro (it stands for music innovation based on utility robot technology), it's a small, ball-shaped iPod dock that rolls around on wheels. At the top of the ball is a slot for the iPod, which users can control with a remote control. Kenwood speakers line the outside of the robot, and can wireless play music saved on a nearby computer.
The Miuro will cost $930 when it's released to the whole world in the second half of 2007. Empresa japonesa lan a robô para iPod (in Portuguese) [Terra]
