Another patent was found today by Apple, this time for a cube-shaped computing device. The fins on the top look like it's for cooling, which was definitely a problem in the original G4 cube that eventually contributed to Apple's decision to shelve it. This time Apple's worked many fans and heatsinks into the design so that temperature hopefully won't be a problem.
So is this another cube-based computer? Or is it something sneakier, like a cube-based media center. We all know Apple is trying to expand into the living room with devices like the rumored video-enabled Airport Express.
