In an effort to make your cheeseburger-eating experience more pleasurable, McDonald's has teamed up with Akoo to launch the m-Venue, a platform that lets you browse and buy music/videos through your mobile handset all while chowing down on your ketchup-drenched burger (content providers include Sony BMG, Universal Music Group, and Sony Pictures).


For now, the service is only available in McDonald's at Woodfield Mall in Illinois, but McD's plans on rolling it out in other stores claiming it's boosted its sales by 17%. Now if only they'd do something about the taste of their food.
