Cambridge Soundworks PlayDock i: Subwoofer, Very Familiar Design

Due this January, Cambridge Soundworks' PlayDock i combines the company's advanced audio circuitry (somewhere, Orwell is crying) with the mass appeal of iPod compatibility. It works only with newer iPods (4G to the nano) but the inclusion of a built-in subwoofer (for listening to Nas, of course) is a welcome addition. Besides its one unified speaker look, which looks suspiciously like the Apple iPod Hi-Fi, the PlayDock i does everything that iPod speaker-docks have done since the dawn of time: charges the iPod, has video output, etc.

It should hit stores for around $200, if you can get past the point that companies have been selling the same thing now for several years.
