iPhonegate continues. Word hit late last night that:

Apple and Cisco have agreed to extend the time for Apple to respond to the lawsuit to allow for discussions between the companies with the aim of reaching agreement on trademark rights and interoperability.

Or, in English, Cisco and Apple realized that too much money is at stake over the name "iPhone" to sue and counter sue each other into oblivion. Cisco sued Apple approximately seven seconds after Jobs announced the iPhone at MacWorld last month, claiming that they held the trademark to the name "iPhone." – Nicholas Deleon
