We aren't exactly athletes here at Gizmodo, but the The Master-Disaster
Vending Machine Challenge II that happened here in NYC last night is our type of sporting event. The match involved two teams of three people each competing to see who could consume every item in a vending machine the fastest without puking.
It was team Pocket Change vs. Team MoMa (yes, the art snobs from the Museum of Modern Art competed in a junk-food-eating contest), and Pocket Change won by default after all the MoMa folks literally tossed their cookies. Vending machine competition expert Richard Blakeley was on hand to dodge puke-splatter and capture the historic event for all of us to enjoy today, and I think it's safe to say that we're all richer for it.
