The Skinny: HP updates the HDX Dragon, its beastly 20-inch gaming notebook, with a shiny new gamer-worthy 1080p res screen: The world's "first 20.1-inch WUXGA XHD Ultra BrightView widescreen display" and a fresh 512MB GeForce 8800M GTS plus newer Core 2s to pump all those pixels. The Drag: It still weighs about as much as your desktop.

It's about freaking time for the HDX Dragon to get a 1080P screen. I always thought it was rather ridiculous that for all of it's power and size, it only had a WSXGA screen.
Do want
I still don't like how HP laptops look, though
So is this tx2000 finally going to offer a C2D option, or will it still be AMD only like the tx1000? Somehow I'm thinking it will given the lack of mention of CPU options (compared with the HDX).
Rechargeable pen? Bah, then it's not Wacom. Do not want.
How much does it weigh? I couldn't find that spec on HP.com
These massive laptops remind me back in the good ol' days when Apple sold a bag you could slide your Mac Plus into for easier transport. Having been spoiled by a 1.9 lb Sharp PCMM20 I now feel that even my 3 lb Lenovo feels uber heavy.
WUXGA has been optional on the HDX for some time.
The price cut is really welcome though, along with 8800M.
This is really old news
I love it how the guy chooses the laptop over the girl
I love my CWUGAXZMNA screen! I think I just went blind!
Sorry about this. Just trying to see if I've been banned or not.
