Gadget Lab's Rob Beschizza has made himself a little piss-take of the MacBook Air. Curved corners—that's an Ives-esque attention to detail you've got there—and a killer punchline. This one goes out to all the secret Luddites who read the Giz. [YouTube via Wired]

Hehehe...
...Probably the future of E-Paper after they figure out how to avoid breaking it AND attaching a chip that´s equally thin.
Useless.
Where are the ports on that thing?!
Apparently you do everything wirelessly. A true innovation in my opinion.
...that video was one Apple logo and one mention of "only $9.99" away from being a classic. =)
Thank scientology and Tom Cruise and Al Gore. OOPS POW SUPRISE!
@shoegazer: The ports are in the upper left corner >.>
*staples another sheet on*
I used one of these once. I found the stylus really big and clunky. And getting the information to another user was really slow; some people reported not getting my messages for days!
You get what you pay for.
i don't think it will it work with my regular macbook magsafe charger.
I'll list the reasons this will never sell.
<sarcasm>
1. Where's the keyboard!!!
2. Hello, where's my Interwebs!
3. No branding. How do I know this isn't some POS made by a Korean subside of some German company?
4. ... okay, I'm done.
</sarcasm>
Probably has a better carbon footprint than the Mac notebook.
meh.
Simple and decently amusing, nicely done.
(And damn that song for always putting me into some kind of strange transe... x_x)
Gosh, you know there are going to be Chinese knock-offs of this by tomorrow.
Now let's see a video of how many pieces of paper it takes to store as much information as a laptop. :)
No wireless. Less space than a Nomad. Lame.
This WILL blend. But it WON'T play Doom.
@Sortafast: [www.arabnews.com]
Looks like just the one will do.
Lame.
@Sortafast:
Well, fractal laws mean that theoretically a sheet of paper has infinite storage.
Not terribly funny. Or rather, funny at all. Love that damn song.
Suck it Hammermill fanboys.
@Kaiser-Machead: ^ now that was funny
foldable too!
I don't know what's worse- the endless weak Mac "parodies" or the time spent commenting on them. Oh shit.... delete delete delete...
Wow. Actually clever. I was surprised.
Oh that was great! Love the ending as well.
Not enough memory included, definitely needs an upgrade already!
I'd totally pay $1800 for that.

This is funnier. I really thought this was going to the be video when I saw the post title. :(
I boycott Apple products because of the theme music. Feist music causes seizures.
i want my 30 seconds back.
Think of all the folding@home you could acomplish though!
this is much better than paying a rediculous sum of money for a CRAPple laptop that has one usb port and limited funcionality...
anyway... pretty funny parody.
and you can even fit more than one of them in the envelope!!
A similar audio podcast parody is available at [www.mrbrownshow.com] . There's local humor/slang involved and those familiar with gadget shopping at Sim Lim Square in Singapore will appreciate it (Shout out to Gizmodo readers from Singapore!)
@schrutebuck: OMG SOMEONE ELSE AGREES WITH ME!!!! I woke up for work one morning, turned on the TV and it was FEIST performing LIVE on TV...worst way to begin the day... they had 10+ people performing one crappy song...
...
When I know what the punchline is before I even click "play," you might want to check to make sure you're really as clever as you think you are. It's like, "HA HA! IT'S PAPER! CUZ PAPER IS THIN AMIRITE?" And then it totally beats you over the head with the "joke."
Also: The MacBook Air is not $3,000. Rounding up to prove a point I can see, but nearly doubling the price?
Sorry. I guess I'm just in a critical, not-easily-amused mood.
I enjoyed that ad and the song, it is very catchy!
What abot the MacBook Air ads parodies, did you see them? There are some of them at [macbookairad.com.] Some of them are very funny, people are putting their old black notebooks to envelopes :D
@Gizmog: I'm right with you. $3,000 isn't hyperbole it's dumb.
