World travelers will undoubtedly be thrilled with "The Continental Companion" and its ability to help Apple users utilize different power outlets without having to carry around a bulky power brick. The set includes four AC plugs (with a 12" whip) and it requires the portable power adapter that ships with the MacBook Air, MacBook, MacBook Pro, iBook and PowerBook G4. You can also use it with the iPod and iPhone USB adapter as well as the iPod FireWire Power Adapter. The Continental is available for $34.95. [incipio via Crunchgear]

now if i had an apple product it'd be awesome.
wow. thats probably the most affordable apple accessory. ever. ill be traveling abroad in a few... that might be the ticket i need.
Or you can just get the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit. Available at your local Apple store and much smaller and more compact than this thing.
Um, Apple already sells something like this, except it costs $5 more and comes with 6 adapters instead of 4. It's called the "Apple World Traveler Adapter Kit". Which is slightly less lecherous, and accordingly includes less pipe. err, less cabling:

@Jordan Golson: Yes, this doesn't strike me as an especially groundbreaking product [understatement].
Just head to Wallyworld and get the all-in-one brick PLUS surge protector in the travel aisle.
Two years running of perfect service (one year 24 hour service charging my device living abroad), $10 US.
The prongs are retractable.
What's about this crap? These people here must be dangerouly close to run out of thing to post or they just want to put up some ads for this stupid adapter. This is nothing new or worthy of mentioning to anyone who has been to a bestbuy.
I really love giz, but when you post things like this it just makes me angry. Since when is a 4-piece travel adapter set thats bulky and ugly, a giz-worthy post, when apple themselves have been selling a set that has all four of these adapters plus two more, all of which fit perfectly with the brick that comes with your apple product? And hey, if a power adapter/supply has ever looked sexy, it's been an apple power adapter, so cut it out with this crap and drop this post!!!
Thanks.
hey guys, you can buy 2 Go!Cons for that price! I have two and they are just great. And don't need an extra bag to carry around, they are just one piece.
OR yo can just get a Universal World Outlet Adapter you can buy everywhere for less money and it works on EVERYTHING and takes up a QUARTER of the space and you can then put it in a sexy velvet bag if that's your "thing". The last thing I need is more cables in my computer bag. How do companies actually market these worthless things?
OH GOD! It just came to me! It's white so it matches your power adapter! THANK THE LORD BABY JESUS, SOMEONE CARES TO NOT USE A TACKY OFF WHITE TRAVEL ADAPTER.
I'll tell you what I'd buy.... A BLACK FREAKING POWER ADAPTER AND REMOTE FOR MY BLACK MACBOOK!!!!
Great picture and title, I was just talking with someone at work today and the word continental came up. I said whenever I hear that word all I can think of is that skit from SNL.
The sad thing is that this piece of crap will probably be bought by clueless zealots.
How exciting!!!! NOT! I have been doing this for years - the cable is a standard one that you can pick up in almost any electronics store wherever you go in the world. All the same - glad somebody thought to put this together!
i feel a little ashamed of asking.. but what's the name of the actor? i just cannot remember his name...
More Cow Bell Please. : )
Christopher Walken rocks my f**king socks.
MacBook Air. Manilla Envelope. Check.
All the tools you need to support it. Gunny Sack. Check.
Too bad there are better, and smaller power adapters out there. One company makes one that has the pins recessed inside it and you slide out a lever depending on which ones you need.
Or you could go for the more a more compact world travel adaptor:
[www.superetrader.co.uk] or [audik.en.alibaba.com]
As you can see there are actually many different companies branding the same product. The nice thing is the support for USB, making it easier to recharge my iPod on the go. Shame my phone is too picky about about which USB plugs it will accept.
