Legos are awesome as we all know, but trying to build an entire set of office furniture out of them could pose a bit of a challenge. That's where Bloxes come in. These cardboard modular building blocks can be assembled into furniture like desks, chairs, cubicles, and dividers for the office—and their interlocking design makes them strong enough to handle just about anything.
The concept is interesting, but I would imagine that it might take a significant amount of time to construct anything on a large scale, not to mention the fact that an entire office made from this stuff would look extremely bizarre. At the very least, one would hope that Bloxes would offer a most cost effective solution that purchasing traditional furniture—but at $60 for a pack of 20 I'm not so sure. It makes the whole space look a little too bloxey.
what's the surface area on that sumbitch?
Looks like someone with OCD could have fun all day dusting those things.
Clearly these guys don't do the cleaning at home. Try to dust that out... :F
Floor to ceiling combustibles.
It's flame-tastic!
Must...build...fortress...and...rubberband...trebuchet...
Where's my anti-alias filter?
$3.00 a piece?
Better wait for chinese version at $1.00 per hundred.
I'm guessing it wouldn't be safe to hide under a Bloxes table during an earthquake, and make sure you don't spill your soup on it.
That doesn't look especially comfortable for furniture...
Those are the nerdiest nerds to ever nerd.
@GiltProto:
lmfao, thanx for bringing the laughs!
from the look of those things before there put together i'd say building office furniture out of the little lego blocks from the toy store would be easier. on a side note i'm using the plastic coke crates used for shipping 2 liter cokes as giant lego blocks to make a couch
@JayFight: The crates that 1 liters ship in are great for DVD/CD storage also (24 DVDs or 70 CDs). You just need to zip tie them together.
Holy crap. Did anyone else see the picture of how you have to fold the individual boxes to actually make one of those things?!

I know during x-mas time people have brain aneurysms trying to figure out how to fold those flat gift boxes more or less try and figure this one out.
Sometimes reinventing the wheel works. Sometimes it just doesn't. This falls into the latter category.
100 points for the guy wearing a threadless shirt
The second my office tells me that, instead of getting me an actual wooden/fiberglass desk to use to work, I'm getting these dumb*ss things to builds my own workspace, is the second right before I tell them where they can put those bloxes and two seconds before I leave for the day and all subsequent days. I understand trying to be cost-efficient and reduce expenses, but please. Respect your people enough to get them a friggin' office or worst case scenario an actual nuts-and-bolts-constructed/connected cubicle.
If we got these at my office, I'd build one huge left hand with the middle finger up, right before taking a three=hour lunch. lol
