Our female alter egos at Tech Digest just scored a video hands-on with Samsung's new YP-S3 MP3 player. The iPod nano rival should be out this June and is quite similar to its Cupertino competition, with a screen only 0.2-inches smaller and comparable music, photo and video playback abilities. The Samsung adds a built-in FM radio and a 2GB option to accompany the usual 4GB and 8GB models. [Tech Digest]

"...comparable...video playback abilities."
As in "none"? My Nano doesn't do video.
Your nano is old. Your awareness is breathtaking.

Hey guys, take it easy on him. He's probably holed up in a cave somewhere.
Hardware looks nice, however bubble-up VH1 daytime TV graphic interface is not setting my world ablaze.

Yeah, I've had it, what, 18 months? Sorry, I can't afford to throw a couple hundred bucks away for two-inch video.
That looks reasonably swanky, but what doesn't play mp3s and videos these days? I think my underwear and my dog are the only two things left in my house without at least 2" screens. I gotta upgrade that dog.
This is what Soviet MP3s would be like would the Iron curtain not have fallen!
That screen is too small to watch video on.
@dumpsterdiver: Amen to that.
