    Looks like a fantastic product that shows the direction all GPS units are likely to go. Still, until some competition comes in to lower the price, I will have to wait on the sidelines.

    (Then again, knowing how cheap I am, I probably will continue to look up directions on a $2 map for a long time to come.)

    I got a package from dash on Monday - I was excited to see something from them but confused because it seemed to small. It turns out it was a Dash-branded 1-to-3 car power adapter, along with a letter promising that I'll have the real unit "in my hands" on the 27th.

    I signed up as a Dash tester a while back and described my driving habits and usual car usage. They responded that Thank you but my input would not be needed. :-(

    @morcheeba: I got that package on Thursday the 20th. A nice surprise, and extra special since it was also my birthday. ;)
