We got 14 entries for the desktop clutter art contest that started with Spider-Pig and Homer Simpson, and we got the winner right after the jump!

Honorary mentions for the Spaghetti Monster—we like—and the conceptual Windows Blue Screen of Death. Now the top winners:
3rd Place: Goes to Hapax's Iron Man. Why? Because it's nice and we are all Tony Stark fanboys and we like cocktails.
2nd Place: A great rendition of the MacBook Air by Daniel Lagin.

That would be Mister Chief and not the Master Chief (seriously, there is a difference).

The most likely way is to set a desktop picture of the image you'd like to create then drag folders of the appropriate color around to fill in the spaces. It's not tough, but it is tedious and takes a lot of tenacity.

The only thing I find more annoying than gizmodo camera review spam is morons with way too much time on their hands making fucking pictures from icons on their desktop.
The linux guy probably codec a script to do the work :P
I love them all, this was a cool contest, but maybe there should have been a prize of a donation to CCleaner in their name...crappy desktops need crap cleaner. =P
