After a presentation at Microsoft's Zune media event, Chris Stephenson, GM of Marketing for Zune, offhandedly mentioned that they're finding ways to integrate and work with Danger's 250-man staff. As a reminder, Danger, who Microsoft bought, is strictly a consumer handset OS maker. No one has officially confirmed the Zune Phone project's existence until now, without a retraction. But this is a step in the right direction.

Putting together two pieces of crap makes one big piece of shit.
@GIZisGOD:
I don't own a Zune, but I've used my friends and it seems a lot cooler than my iPod.
Zune > iPod
I'm not really sure about that other product.
Ah, Microsoft following the trail Apple is blazing. Yet again. Can't wait to see this "Zune Phone."
Microsoft: The Freedom to Innovate (TM). Or Ditch Our "Partners," Buy Some Outside Talent, and Copy Apple's Model - Whichever Works Best (R)
I wonder which of the two is the stronger brand. Is MS helping out Danger or the other way around?
Am I the only one that finds it odd that Microsoft has Windows Mobile and is buying Danger a handset OS maker. Seems more of a publicity stunt then of actually buying anything useful
@pure241: Good point. It's probably the other way around with how kids look at Microsoft these days, kinda like a crazy uncle that occasionally does something cool but then you realize he's still a dope fiend.
I love my Zune, and I've always wanted a Sidekick, so this = win.
Sort of like Dell buying Alienware?
@LagunaSol:
Fanboy much?
@LagunaSol: yeah. Apple invented everything. Keyboards. Mice. Video Screens. Computing theory. Binary numbers. Apple even invented punchcards but they didn't feel like selling them, that's why there aren't any around these days.
I'm sure you think Dunkin' Donuts invented coffee and donuts too.
@brother9:
"I'm sure you think Dunkin' Donuts invented coffee and donuts too."
Are you trying to tell me they didn't?
hummmmm?
well i dont have a zune but i have a sidekick 3 currently but sidekicks arent bad phones but there not the best they have alot of flaws they only good thing i guess would be the messaging and the full sized key board but a zune phone i wonder
@LagunaSol: so what exactly does Jobs taste like anyway. I mean do you swallow, spit, or do you just enjoy the moment
Zune phone excites my male organs.
As convoluted as the mobile market is I doubt Microsoft would in any way make a Zune phone. My theory is that they are aiming at a way to better connect Zune users together, long range. Zune is all about social after all. btw check out this unofficial zune ad if your into all things zune.

@One2ManyCords: i enjoy the moment, and then swallow :D
I don't know about Danger, but I love my Zune 80.
i love my Zune but i found myself putting my sidekick on craigs list, they try to do this with zunes and sk's i will never by another Microsoft music player or mobile device not that i've ever owned one but my chances of getting one would be even slim er
Microsoft's gonna ride in to the
Danger + Zune = Danger Zune!
?
@LagunaSol: Indeed but wait isn't that what apple does hell don't they all do it
