odd enough I don't like it as much as when I was using my curve as my primary phone, idk it just doesn't say USE ME CARMEN, USE ME...
It's not often that I hope that a phone doesn't come to Verizon, but I just got the Curve, so I hope this phone doesn't come out until 2010 for VZW, which would be right on track with their release schedule...
USE ME Then Carmen!! ;-) just kidding.

Who's getting this phone ? AT&T? Sprint? T-mob? who's first?
TIA

may be a dumb question, but any idea if this will come to verizon. My contract is due for renewal and im ready for a blackberry. I'd love to get this
@rbf2000: you dont want it there yet cause you just got a new one? Hows the Curve btw?
@coolfelix: Well, I've had it all of 14 hours, but so far I love it. I already have it set to sync with my google calendar OTA, which then syncs with Outlook on my desktop. All I have to do is figure out a way to sync contacts from gmail OTA and I'll be set.
Of course, my opinion could be skewed - the Motorola Q I had before the 8330 didn't exactly set the bar high...
@coolfelix: Go with T-mobile :D Their blackberries are cheaper and some of them contain wi-fi while other carriers don't.
Can you change the icons to colour instead of black and white
@rbf2000: yeah the Q bit it. I used to love Motorola, but like Palm they just failed to bring innovative products out on a timely basis. I was thinking of switching to ATT for an iPhone, but truthfully, as much as I like that phone Im not willing to spend that much on something like that. So BB it is.
@utube2007: Apparently you can, check the review on crackberry.com, he has an 'Eye Candy' segment that shows some other color schemes.
@carmen89: Ive been thinking about it :P
I think it won't come to Verizon until like early 2009.
You know At&t gets the cool stuff first.
Hopefully someone will verify this.
@coolfelix: do research first. Theres nothing worse than being stuck with a carrier for two years of your life...I know Verizon crushed my dreams of living a normal life I thank G-D everyday he showed me T-Mobile.
AT&T should get it first if they follow every other blackberry trend. it's been 3 1/2 years since T-mo launched a corporate BB device before AT&T
@carmen89: WRONG
BB 8310, 8800 and 8120 from ATT ALL HAVE WIFI. Do your research, budday!
Anyone know if/when it's coming to yurp?
I'd LOVE me one of these!
@TheManator: Hey Mr. Research, neither the 8310 nor the 8800 has Wifi - they both have GPS. The 8820 is the 8000 model with GPS & Wifi.
I meant - "the 8820 is the 8800 model..."
@TheManator: OMG you;re so cool1#@?E!@
Thats why I said SOME :) READ...BUDDAY!
I have an 8830 and my one gripe is managing SMS messages. I want to filter by sender (so Twitter msgs are separate from "real" msgs) and I want to "Delete Prior" from ANY point, not just date.
Any idea if the 9000 would address these concerns?
