Here's the stuff that we didn't post today. (Until now, obviously.)
• The next iPhone's getting a Magnetometer. This means a compass. Probably a Google Streetview compass. Not all that useful for current iPhone users though, which make up the entirety of the iPhone user audience right now. [Boy Genius Report]
• The iPhone developers need to make sure their apps are 3.0 compatible now when they submit their apps for approval. Obvious, and obvious to developers, because they got this email from Apple directly. Useless to everyone else. [Apple Insider]
• Phone companies are looking at ditching their landline service in the next X years. Pretty much the same story that's been going on for the last X years. [Dallas News]
• Microsoft merges Photosynth with Virtual Earth—two services nobody uses. [Tech Crunch]
• Here are some grapes with USB ports in them, or USB ports shaped like grapes. Who knows, but we're way past the USB stuff shaped like mediocre objects phase of the internet. [Craziest Gadgets]
• Google's Eric Schmidt says he won't resign from Apple's board, because he doesn't care and neither should you, since you're not his mother. [LA Times]
• Here's a bike with brass knuckles for handlebars. Yeah, great idea for when you fall and break eight of your fingers. Nobody should try this, ever. [Boing Boing Gadgets]
