Chinese Launch For Twitter "Just A Matter Of Time"

Despite Twitter being blocked in China—and the whole country being up in arms over censorship thanks to Google's recent stance—the Twitter founders are apparently working on a fix that'll allow Chinese people to register and use the site.

Speaking at a panel, Twitter's Chairman Jack Dorsey said it was "just a matter of time" before a Chinese registration page can be set up, and those accessing Twitter by bypassing the firewall can read translated tweets. Yet when Google is almost certain to be pulling out of the country altogether, it doesn't bode well for Twitter—nor for the people who wish to flaunt the country's strict rules on censorship. [WSJ]
