Microsoft, Google and Yahoo Prepare to Check-in With FoursquareS

According to quotes from Foursquare's co-founder Dennis Crowley, the company is considering a deal to send out the data it harvests through the location-aware app, and the usual suspects are in the shortlist to acquire it.

"We can anonymise data and use it to show venues which are trending at that moment" Crowley explained to the Telegraph, pointing out that search-linked Foursquare data would show users where people are hanging out and what's popular in real-time. According to the Telegraph, all three major search providers "failed to deny" talking to Foursquare about doing some business. [Telegraph via Techradar]
