Andreas Gefeller, a photographer, took a series of pictures that show the ridiculously tangled telephone wires on the streets of Japan. It's jarring how chaotic the wires look when they're all you focus on.
A closer look at the wires shows even more how flimsy it is, like the internet is staying afloat by a string! I do find it somewhat interesting that the Japanese, inventive as they can be, haven't developed a way to make these tangled wires invisible or something. [Andreas Gefeller via Boing Boing]
