Turn All of Those Leftover Easter Eggs into Awesome Pinhole Egg Cameras

Did you know that yesterday was both Easter and World Pinhole Photography Day? Is there a better way to celebrate both days than to make a pinhole camera out of an egg? Not for Francesco Capponi, who did that exact thing.

Francesco's goal was to impress the photograph on the inside of the shell. To do this, he painted the inside of the shell with emulsion to make it light sensitive and covered the hole he drilled with a pin-holed plate. The results look great, like an artist meticulously drew inside the egg. Check out his full instructions to make your own egg-shell pictures. Be warned though, he broke 50 eggs to take 4 photos.
