Smoke, lightning, clouds, dramatic score, volcano. It's not the opening of Lord of the Rings—it's an amazing video of the Icelandic volcano Grímsvötn erupting, shot by Jon Gustafsson.
Shot from a helicopter just five miles out, right before a 20-mile radius around the volcano was declared a no-fly zone, Gustafsson says he hasn't even "really had time to watch the video." Which is unfortunate, because he's missing out—especially because he's possibly one of the few to have been able to capture this kind of footage up close.
