The Philippines Attacks Piracy by Digging Through a Ginormous Pile of ItS

In the US, we hit our copyright infringers with mammoth, disproportionate lawsuits to terrify their peers into going offline. In the Philippines, copyright enforcement requires this guy getting his hands dirty in a humungous pile of pirated media.

The fellow you see here is tasked with sorting through the heap of seized DVDs and whatnot before they're destroyed. But if they're just going to be destroyed, why bother sorting them? Shouldn't this be like one of those Colombian police cocaine brick bonfires? Just toss it all in! And then when they're done being destroyed, please give this man a raise, because no matter how much he's being paid, it isn't enough to sit atop a pile of bootlegged movies.
