Besides its aluminum body and USB 3.0 ports, the Gateway ID47 laptop will attract eyes because of its display. Similar to LG's laptop, Gateway stretched and thinned the ID47 bezel to fit a 14-inch screen where a 13.3-inch display would normally reside.

Additionally, the ID47 has a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM, Dolby Home Theater audio, multitouch trackpad, HDMI-out, and a 500GB HDD. It comes complete with capacitive touch media keys and is only 1.13 inches at its thickest point. The ID47 can be had now for $700.
