A Wounded War Dog Healed in an Aerial Hospital

War dogs, just like war people, get shot at. And when they're hit—like this brave fighting pooch, Cujo, they get the exact same state of the art C-17 medical treatment as a human, KitUp's Glenn Anderson reports.

Cujo caught a bullet in the paw while working alongside some homo sapiens in Afghanistan, and was ushered onto a C-17 floating hospital via the USAF's Aeromedical Evacuation squad, where Anderson says "he was given the same professional and competent level of care as his human colleagues during his med-evac. He is expected to make a full recovery." Someone get Cujo some treats, stat. [KitUp!]
