China Creates "Infinite Hero Bacon" by Cloning Invincible Earthquake Pig

Where does one secure the very best bacon? The supermarket? Shut up, rookie! You secure it from the heroic pig that survived for more than a month buried beneath the rubble of China's horrific Sichuan earthquake.

His name is Zhu Jianqiang, or "Strong-Willed Pig," but he might as well be known as "Infinite Hero Bacon" since it's now obvious that his Chinese handlers plan on keeping his DNA alive forever.

After the massive earthquake struck and killed tens of thousands of people in Sichaun and neighboring Shaanxi and Gansu on May 12, 2008, Zhu Jianqiang survived against all odds under the rubble by eating charcoal and drinking rain water. His harrowing tale was embraced as a natural coping mechanism for the devastated citizenry, and now his genetic superstuff will be kept alive for generations to come.

Six piglets, born over the past few weeks, will continue the line. Some of them even sport their dad's "go fuck yourself, nature" birthmark between their eyes! [The Telegraph]
