Sources with Droid-Life claim to have images of the yet-to-be-announced Xoom 2, and they might just be right. Without much to go on, it does kind of resemble Motorola's earlier mock-up and even a shot leaked last week. Curiouser and curiouser.
The source notes that it's got a similar build to the current Xoom, and sports HDMI and micro-USB ports, a SIM card slot, and what appears to be an HD rear camera. No word on the guts, though. Come on, Moto. Stop playing so coy already. [Droid-Life via Engadget]
Update: This Is My Next reports that the Xoom 2 will be just 9mm thick-just .02mm thicker than the iPad—will have a 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and be able to shoot 1080p video. This puppy will also come loaded with Flash Player 11, and stream Netflix in HD. Which sounds exciting if you ask me.
Update: This Is My Next has some new details on our Xoom 2 that just about confirm it as the real deal. It'll be just 9mm thick, and a nondescript 1.2GHz dual-core processor. And that HD camera up there will record video in 1080p. The tablet's also supposed to be the first to ship with Flash Player 11 and be ready for Netflix streaming. Can't wait to see this thing up close.
