Syrian Dictator Is a Chris Brown Fan

Opposition members in Syria gained access to the personal email account of dictator Bashar Al-Assad, revealing a secret cache of... iTunes receipts?

Due to download restrictions in Syria, the dictator had to use a separate email account and an American Express card linked to a New York address to make his purchases. Assad had downloaded Chris Brown's single "Look At Me Now" as well as LMFAO's "Sexy And I Know It". Damn right.

Assad also had a taste for country tunes, grabbing Blake Shelton's "God Gave Me You" on February 5. That one he sent to his wife – one day after bombing Homs, and the day before 300 rockets were lobbed into the city.

Other totalitarian recommendations include The Cover Girl's "We Can't Go Wrong" and "Hurt" performed by Leona Lewis.

Assad also downloaded one Harry Potter film, several Potter apps, the Steve Jobs bio, and Real Racing 2.
