The Acer Iconia A510 is coming. We got some hands-on time with it at CES and we were impressed. A 10.1-inch
screen, a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, and Ice Cream Sandwich sounds mighty good, and now you can pre-order one.
In addition to the banner features mentioned above, the whole thing starts at $450 for the 32GB version, which ain't bad at all when you consider that (at least on paper) it can go toe to toe with the Asus Transformer
which starts at
$500. It's also worth mentioning that it has one gig of RAM, has Dolby Digital sound, and comes emblazoned with the Olympic rings on the back.
You can pre-order this hot little number right now, and keep checking back here for a full-review, which we'll be doing as soon as we get our hands on one. [Acer]
UPDATE: The screen is not 1080p but rather the more standard 1280x800 resolution. Got a couple of wires crossed. My apologies for getting your hopes up.
