Rejoice, Apple junkies on a budget, for Apple's refurbished store is no longer completely empty. It's now loaded with a lot of deals with discounts up to 38 percent—all in stock.
I count at least 60 MacBooks of all classes, as well as iMacs and a bunch of Verizon iPad 2 units marked $140 off. There is a $799 MacBook Air 1.86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo—$400 off the original price. It's from October 2010, but it's still nice enough. Not as nice as that $759.00 MacBook Air 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 released on July 2011, though.
We still don't know if it was a glitch or if everything was out of stock. Some people still report weirdness, so it probably was the former. In any case, we are glad these are back—if you don't mind living with yesterday's technology, these refurbs are a good option. [Apple Store]
