Would You Pay Less for Backup Storage You Can't Immediately Access?

So Amazon Glacier is here as super cheap storage for "data that is infrequently accessed and for which retrieval times of several hours are suitable." But that's different from a lot of the storage you might have used in the past.

For your day-to-day life, would you want to take the discounted price Amazon's offering to have backups it took a while to get to? What kind of data would you store there—maybe redundant backups?
