It's a year today since former Apple CEO Steve Jobs passed. Fittingly, Apple has posted a moving video tribute on the front page of its website, which remembers his enthusiasm and determination.

Kicking off with the now-famous Wayne Gretzky quote—"I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been"—the video depicts some of the most exciting moments from the company's past, with Jobs excitedly announcing the iMac, the iPod and iPhone to a then-unsuspecting public. His passion got us all carried away, too.

Tim Cook has also posted a letter on the site, reflecting on Steve's life and the past year. He explains how it's been a "sad and difficult" time for everyone at Apple, pointing out that the company's "values originated from Steve and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple."

It's difficult to believe that a year's passed since Apple lost its leader. You can read how people reacted to the news 12 months ago here. [Apple]
