This video is strange. In fact, every single song off of the album, Shrine, is pretty strange, so it would be wrong if this surrealist short were bland and typical.

Purity Ring's album has been one of my favorites of the entire year. Megan James' voice is just so eerie and beautiful. Paired with some oddball lyrics and really strong electronic beats, the band has made something I just can't stop listening to. It toes the line between something delicate and pretty and something haunting and frightening. And this video? Still weird. [Spotify, iTunes, Amazon]
