Megan Fox probably wouldn't be the first person that would come to mind when choosing a spokesperson for a laptop. On the other hand, the Acer Aspire S7 Ultrabook isn't your ordinary tech product.
Fox, with the help of her Aspire S7, showed off her scientific side as she sought out to crack the code of dolphin communication. Pretty hefty stuff for a Hollywood starlet.
The Aspire S7 with Windows 8 features a sleek, thin body and a HD-touchscreen to boot, which helped give Megan a computer that's the best of both laptop and tablet worlds.
The 13-inch model of the S7 also comes with a Gorilla Glass 2 casing, and weighs in at 2.24 pounds. It's not only light and extremely portable, but it's also sturdy. That's important when having to deal with a 700-pound mammal every day.
The illuminated keyboard means never having to worry about typing in the dark (very helpful when writing those research notes late at night) and the Acer Twinair cooling system means no more worrying about scalding hot laptops on your legs.
But don't just take my (or Megan's) word. The Aspire S7 was recently named an International CES Innovations 2013 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree.
