Samsung's just announced its 2013 lineup of home theater and audio devices. The new set features an interesting mix of vintage and developing technologies designed to combine classic sound with modern connectivity.
Leading the retro charge is the HW-F750 Vacuum Tube Soundbar, which is not only gyroscopicallly enhanced so as to automatically know which way you've oriented it, but also integrates a vacuum tube amp with its digital output to produce fuller, richer sounds. It's reputedly the very first sound bar to offer Bluetooth connectivity with its television as well.
The DA-F60 Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker, can both stream audio over a BT-enabled SoundShare connection and also pair with other NFC-enabled devices. Samsung's HT-F9750W 7.1 Channel, 1,330-watt Home Theater System boasts a Gallium Nitride amp, a vacuum tube pre-amp, and speakers with Ceramic Polypropylene Injection Diaphragms which, if nothing else, sound super impressive. Finally, the BD-F7500 Premium Blu-ray Player is UHD-proof, already upscaling for both SD and HD content. It also offers the company's Smart Hub for streaming and surfing as well as AllShare for content mirroring. [Samsung]
