Rugged phones are nice, but they are almost invariably crap. According the Wall Street Journal, Samsung is making a move to kick that trend with an upcoming waterproof, dustproof Galaxy S4.
The WSJ's unnamed source says the tenatively named "Galaxy S4 Active" will launch this June, alongside robust models of the Galaxy line's 7 and 10.1-inch tablets. While signifcantly more damage proof, the models are said to retain the same general look and feel of the more fragile devices they're based on. Butterfingers may be well advised to hold out on that S4 purchase for just a little longer. [Wall Street Journal]
