Why This Keyboard Forms a Skyline

Why This Keyboard Forms a SkylineKeyboard island, ho! Although what looks at first like random keystroke skyscrapers is actually much more purposeful; each button visualizes how often you use it. We are an E-crazed people, indeed.

If nothing else, Michael Knuepfel's ITP project shows just how effective the QWERTY layout is. Well, at least if the Wikipedia data Knuepfel used is anywhere near accurate. I just wish that non-letters had been included; my Delete key would just about reach the ceiling. [Michael Knuepfel via PSFK via TwentyTwoWords via The High Definite]
