Sometimes, lunatics accuse me of spending a disproportionate amount of time talking about the iPod instead of other music players and making news out of the most inconsequential things, just because the news might feature a little white brick in there somewhere. Usually, those people are insane; like, MS Paint sketches of them killing me with a ceiling fan insane. This time, however, my accusers would be right to say that this news about Apple's creation of a new 'iPod Division' to focus on the iPod (and iTunes, one would think) as a wholly separate line from the Macintosh isn't really the sort of news the has any immediate effect on anything. Still, did someone say iPod? I thought I heard iPod. (Thanks, Daniel!)
