    More Verizon/Motorola V710 Details

So we knew Motorola's new V710 was going to be hitting Verizon Wireless sometime in August, but internal documents reveal the exact date will be the 11th (and by internal documents I mean a PDF on their site, so peruse away.) Pricing looks about standard for a phone in this range: $420 at full retail; as low as $320 subsidized with a two-year contract.

The most interesting information, though, are the three listed Bluetooth Accessories, a headset ($80), a car kit ($200 ouch!), and an external speaker ($100). While their function is pretty much self-explanatory, what they don't address is that niggling rumor that the V710 somehow uses a non-standard Bluetooth implementation (which would mean other, less-expensive third-party peripherals wouldn't work). I guess we'll have to wait until someone gets their hands on one to confirm. (Thanks, Barry!)
