    Nikon D2X, 12.4-Megapixel DSLR

Nikon has finally announced the successor to their D1X and boy, does it look hot! Called the D2X (surprise!), the defining feature of the new DSLR is a 12.4-megapixel CMOS sensor that can shoot up to five frames per second at its highest resolution, but can also be bumped down to 6.8-megapixel to increase its framerate to 8 per second. In addition, Nikon has updated their Wi-Fi transmitter for the camera; the WT-2 has both 802.11b/g support and "Capture Control," giving you the ability to control the shutter of the camera from a PC or other mobile device.
