    Telegnosis VGA Over USB 2.0

I accidentally watched the video explaining how NetChip was able to send PCI video streams over Hi-Speed USB 2.0 cabling, and if you've got 4 minutes of your life to waste, it's a testament to the necessity of getting outside help when you're making product videos ("Wow, it looks so easy! And so simple!") Anyway, the product the NetChip technology powers is pretty nifty, basically a PCI to USB convertor that allows you to add, in this implementation, a second monitor over USB. Resolution is limited by bandwidth, though, meaning the most you're going to see is 1,024 x 768 (16 bit) or 800 x 600 (32 bit). That makes it unsuitable for gaming or likely even movie watching, but I can certainly see it coming in handy in certain situations. Japanese Telegnosis plans to sell the device for around $80.
